Lindos village tour

Our driver and Guide will pick you up and the tour will depart along the east coast to Lindos.  This is an attractive drive, with lovely coastal views.  On arrival in Lindos, we will stop to take in the wonderful site of the Acropolis sitting high above the Traditional village with its white sugar-cube houses, Lindos is a village protected by a preservation order with no traffic but the famous donkeys. Set around a tranquil bay, it is a taste of tradition in Greece.

You will then be able to start your walking tour from the parking area above St Pauls Bay which is one of the most beautiful on the Island and. Your Guide will accompany you on foot in to the village of Lindos.

You might like to take a guided tour of the church, the Ancient Theatre and of course the Acropolis of Lindos. The walk up to the top is steep and unsuitable for anybody with walking difficulties. There are donkey ‘taxis’ on hand to assist, but these are not for the faint hearted.

There are many lovely restaurants in the village of Lindos for lunch which we can reserve in advance for you or if you want us to take you elsewhere we can drive you to the small village of Haraki, set on the sea, where there is a lovely Greek Taverna, specialising in fish with lovely views out to sea.  4 hours is enough time for a visit to Lindos but if you would like a leisurely lunch then this will then extend the tour time accordingly.

Duration 4-5 hours
There is a good deal of walking in this tour and comfortable, flat shoes are recommended.
